We all experience that negative voice inside our heads. Maybe it tells us we aren’t going to achieve our goals, or that we’re not good enough. Maybe it reminds us of failures from the past. These negative thoughts hold us back. They can keep us from following our dreams, or may even sabotage our success.

The Aroma Freedom Technique is a relatively quick, step-by-step process that uses essential oils to release negative thought processes, feelings, memories, and limiting beliefs that may be holding us back from realizing our dreams and goals. The aromatic oils are inhaled deeply, helping to activate the brain’s natural processes.
Using essential oils in conjunction with specific awareness steps leads to powerful changes that people can notice immediately. The Aroma Freedom Technique is an amazing emotional clearing process because it follows the actual path that the brain uses when it creates its defense system. It does this in minutes. It does this predictably, and the improvements are lasting.
Aroma Freedom Technique: 12 Steps
- Set Your Intention. Rate its likelihood (0-10). Smell Clarifying blend if needed.
- Listen for the negative voice that tells you this can’t happen.
- Identify how you feel when you hear the negative voice.
- Find where you feel the negative feeling in your body.
- Drift back to an earlier time when you felt the same way, either recently or long ago.
- Smell Memory Releasing Blend while focusing on thought, feeling, and memory.
- See what happens to the image, thoughts, and feelings. Use Nurturing or Releasing Oil if desired.
- Notice new beliefs starting to emerge. Identify creative ideas related to your intention.
- State your original intention aloud. Rate it again (o-10) Return to steps 2 if less than 8.
- Create an affirmation that expresses your new, positive belief.
- Say the affirmation, smell Transforming Blend, stand in Power Pose (2 min, 2 x day)
- Make a plan and take action daily. Listen for new guidance and update intentions.
How to Get the Oils
The oils we used today are 100% pure, therapeutic-grade Young Living Essential Oils. The samples provided were:
